Qualcomm Qualcomm is a global company, a firm with many facets, with each business division changing the way we live and work through its own unique contributions. The company, and it's various divisions, are leaders in the world of wireless technology and its products are all around us in many of our day-to-day wireless devices, not least our mobile and smart phones. Generator have been working for Qualcomm for quite a few years now and much of our work is kept under wraps as part of Qualcomms continuous, yet confidential, research and development. However, every now and then one of the subjects of research comes to the fore and we're able to showcase it. |
The Prime Minister gets behind some of our workShocking wrap for Qualcomm’s wirelessly charged electric vehiclesLaunched November 2011Generator have just completed a project to entirely wrap, in impactful ‘electric’ graphics, 3 electrically powered Citroen C1’s for Qualcomm, the world leader in 3G and next-generation wireless technologies, who are one of the driving forces behind the first wireless electric vehicle charging trial in London.Having created the initial R&D literature and exhibition display stands we were asked by Qualcomm to transfer the new design style on to the demonstration electric vehicles (EVs), being used to promote Qualcomm’s involvement in the trial in London’s ‘Tech City’. Qualcomm is working with the Government, the Mayor of London’s office and Transport for London on the trial, which is expected to start early next year and involve as many as 50 electric vehicles.
